In 1997 I received a letter enticing me to join a racing service. Like many of these “too good to be true types” this one was different.

It appealed to me in many ways. Firstly, there was a money back guarantee, then there were the hooks, No tax, no Staff, no set up cost, in fact I would be in total control!

I paid over 1200 pounds for a seminar that would allow me to have detailed selection methods for horseracing and that meant I would be free from the rat race and life would be great!

Wrong! I took the methods away and challenged myself each day to make them work. I found the success erratic to say the least.

I did not complain.  The results did not allow me the luxury of early retirement, but, in the detail I could also see that there was something more!

I was hooked! I challenged the authors at every turn over the next two years until I had to ask the question…” why have I paid all this money and not been rewarded?”

The answer was to change my life “do you think I would give you a solution to untold wealth for 1200 pounds?” ”No!, what I have given to some of you is a vision test” he continued “Most people only see a winning horse as a good bet after it has won! But, if they knew, I mean really knew how good the selection was before the race they would not worry about how much had been wagered on it!”

I did not understand!

I was having lunch with this man at that moment in Newmarket and being thrilled having been told to back a horse by his word and it winning during our meal my 20 pounds had turned into 60!

I was stunned to find that his average stake on a selection like this was 15,000 pounds. His investment (being the term he uses!) had returned him 45,000 pounds. How did he know?

His challenge to me on this day 2 years after I had first met him in 1997 was to spend the next 5 years studying not only form, but more importantly the business of self discipline and the security of fiscal balance.

Indeed now after 10 years I am ready to challenge and develop others as I have.

I can tell you that using our systems and statistics developed for our own use our partners selected 19 from 24 winners at the 2007 Cheltenham festival. All selections were emailed to the offices before racing commenced on each day and are available to see. Incidentally, there were full page adverts in the Racing Post on the Saturday claiming 4 winners at the festival and suggesting that was a miracle!!
